Mango Juice to start!






Corn on the cob, Finger lickin' chicken drummettes, soulful salad.

Sassy at the bar.




Genuine, cheap and cheerful! Cooked by the owner 'Sassy', whose passion is cooking his mother's recipes from Jamaica! He moved here two years ago and you can tell it's genuine food! Favourites were the drummettes and the  goat and veggie curries. Yummy desserts.

Country 6. France


 Aux Batifolles French Restaurant. 1664 Beer to start with!
 Escargots de Bourgogne a l'ail. Garlic, parsley and lemon butter.
Enjoyed by Beth, slightly less by Cath!

 Pitivier de poulet- langouste.French pie with chicken, crayfish and gruyere cheese with bisque and brandy.
Lamb shanks with a bed of mashed potato.
Profiteroles au chocolat with vanilla icecream and warm sauce.
Poached poire in red wine served with an almond biscuit.


With the exception of the snails,(which were only really yummy due to the crispy parsley) the other courses were delicious.

Mustang Beer and Mango Mohi.(yoghurt drink)

Finished with: Rato Mahon (Fried cottage cheese balls soaked in sugar syrup)


A delicious meal, full of exotic spices and flavours. The mango mohi was an experience!

Country 3. Morocco


Morocco Lounge. Prahran. Linda's 50th Birthday

Hummas with Parsley, olive oli and pitta.
Cured Salmon Quich with Horseradish cream.
Ginger tumeric, walnut and honey chicken briks with harissa.
Sucuk skewers with zucchini.
Rosemary marinated lamb cutlets with crispy chat potatoes and aioli.
Salmon fillet with spinich and pomegranate salad.
Spiced chocolate moose with persian fairy floss.


Most of the dishes were tasty, lots of flavour. Some were a little too spicy. Banquet style food. The persian fairy floss is a highlight!

Excellent food as always. The Kratong Tong melts in your mouth. Tom Kar Pug is very tasty!

We set out on this journey to experience the gastronomic delights each of these countries have to offer. Some meals will be experienced in the country of the meal's origins, some in authentic restaurants and some will be as authentic as we can make them at home!
